Heights Ionic Pride #280 – 2026 Annual Family & Friends Picnic

Family, Food & Fellowship – What a Day!

This past Saturday, April 11th, Heights Ionic Pride #280 got together for our Annual Family & Friends Picnic at Tom Bass Park—and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better.

From the moment folks started showing up at the pavilion, you could feel the good energy. Brothers catching up, families meeting each other, kids running around—it was one of those days that just reminded you what this is all really about.

Just Good People & Good Times

One of the best parts of the day was seeing everyone outside of the lodge setting. No meetings, no agenda—just real conversations, laughs, and time well spent together.

We were especially glad to have strong representation from lodges, courts, and chapters all across District 15-A. It meant a lot to see so many different parts of the Masonic family come together in one place.

It was great seeing familiar faces, and even better welcoming new ones into the mix. Events like this really show that what we have goes beyond the lodge —it’s family.

Let’s Talk About the Food

Right around noon, it was time to eat—and nobody left hungry. Our cook team, which is competition level, made sure everybody ate GOOD!!!! Plates were full, people were going back for seconds, and the fellowship around the tables was just as good as the food.

There’s something about breaking bread together that just hits different. It brought everyone together in the best way.

Shoutouts Where They’re Due

Big appreciation to everyone who helped make this happen. From planning to setup to making sure everything ran smooth—it showed.

Special thanks to Bro. Timothy Warren and Bro. Darren Brooks for being the go-to guys and helping keep everything on track. Our cook team, which is competition level, made sure everybody ate GOOD!!!!

Until Next Time

At the end of the day, this is what it’s all about—brotherhood, family, and making memories. Simple as that.

We’re already looking forward to the next one… and if you missed this year, don’t make that mistake again.
